Please note that there are some exceptions for which people would be exempt to meet these requirements for 5-year ILR.

Requirements for Continuous Residence

For example, if a non-resident gets caught in a conflict zone, cannot leave, falls seriously ill, or suffers a sudden bereavement.

Absence due to a crisis
